Defibrillator Signposts PDF Print E-mail

Studies show that the public are often not aware of where the nearest defibrillator is should a cardiac arrest occur. Although provided with directions when making a 999 call, the person may not have local knowledge. Precious time could be wasted in locating the defibrillator.

Cardiac charity SADS UK believes community defibrillators should have signposts to direct people to quickly access this lifesaving equipment. Roadside signage posts could be used, also digital information boards at bus shelters and rail stations.

Please sign our petition to instigate signage and digital displays directing to the nearest defibrillator.

AED Cabinet Pricing and options PDF Print E-mail

SADS UK are proud to be providing good quality defibrillator cabinets at an economical price that is lower than most other cabinets on the market. This low price helps to make defibrillators more widely available in the community.  Working with the Ambulance Services and Parish Councils, as well as schools and various other organisations around the country, SADS UK are enabling more Community Public Access Defibrillators (CPADs) to be put out in the community to save lives.
