Patient support The diagnosis of a cardiac condition can leave a person and family feeling vulnerable and isolated. SADS From left to right above Teenagers and adults who are living with an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) are also happy to speak with others who may be newly implanted with the device, or about to have one fitted. SADS Patient support for Young People Rosa, Alex and Daniel correspond by email or Facebook. Young people can subscribe free to the Young People’s Newsletter. The newsletter enables youngsters to share feelings with other young people and learn more about support and events available.
