He was a very quiet, gentle boy. SADS UK put defibrillators into Schools where it was known a child was living with condition.<br \/><strong>2004<\/strong> \u2013 SADS UK held the conference for Cardiac Arrhythmias, Research and Therapy; A Holistic Approach<br \/><strong>2005<\/strong> \u2013 SADS UK worked with the Department of Health, cardiologists and other stakeholders, bringing about a new National Service Framework to assist people affected by SADS and cardiac conditions.<br \/>NSF Chapter 8 Arrhythmia and Sudden Cardiac Death was published in 2005 and recommendations were given. The charity was especially pleased that one of the recommendations was that after a premature sudden death other family members were to be evaluated by a heart rhythm specialist.<br \/><strong>2007<\/strong> \u2013 SADS UK set up Government e-petition calling for Government to make defibrillators mandatory in Schools.<br \/>EDM 395 \u2018cardiac arrest in Schools\u2019 gained the support of 69 MPs.<br \/><strong>2009<\/strong> &#8211; Welsh Assembly Statement of Opinion. OPIN-2009-0108 &#8211; SADS UK- Help Save Lives made defibrillators mandatory in all Schools.<br \/><strong>2010<\/strong> \u2013 SADS UK provided evidence to HFEA Authority. The charity works in the areas of Research, Prevention and Emergency Care; lives are saved as a direct result of the work of SADS UK. SADS UK work across the UK installing lifesaving Defibrillators, providing CPR and AED training.\nSADS UK\u2019s focus is to highlight the fact that young people and children can be affected by potentially fatal cardiac conditions. \nSADS UK is one of the founder members of SADS International, a worldwide network of SADS Organisations. The SADS Organisations are led by people who have been affected personally by SADS, or work closely with those who have.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
